By Anyone who knows Salt Bae knows that his all-time favorite hero is Scarface star Tony Montana who is of course played by legendary American actor, Al Pacino.
Bae has referenced the 1983 gangster classic many times to his 37 million Instagram followers including this epic tribute filmed in the Dubai branch of Nusr-Et steakhouses:
Despite opening successful restaurants across the globe; hanging out with the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Cristiano Ronaldo, fathering a whopping nine children (yep!) and launching his first restaurant in Istanbul, this latest moment is probably Bae’s greatest: he got to meet his hero.
Enter Al Pacino.
Bae doubled-down on his love for Al Pacino by posting a second photo from their meeting and even captioned it “Father’s Day.”
And then there’s one of Bae’s most recent restaurant openings in Dallas, Texas.
In the restaurant proudly hangs a painting depicting Salt Bae with Scarface’s Tony Montana, played by Al Pacino.
As it happens some fans are so excited about the launch that they’ve already posted reviews about the restaurant online even though it’s not open yet?!
