President Trump is renowned for his unusual eating habits, favouring a well-done steak with a side of ketchup or a McDonald’s spread over any fancier items. The Queen must have been scratching her head as to what to serve the President and First Lady Melania Trump during their UK visit but, fortunately, she decided to shun the fast food feast opting for local produce instead.
During the Queen’s banquet held in Buckingham Palace, the Trump family were served a fish starter of steamed halibut – one of the most luxurious fishes. On the side sat watercress mousse, asparagus and chervil sauce. For main, Windsor lamb took centre whilst dessert consisted of strawberry sable and lemon verbena cream.
Here is the full menu:
Starter
Steamed Halibut, Watercress Mousse, Asparagus Spears and Chervil Sauce

Saddle of Windsor Lamb, Herb Stuffing, Spring Vegetables and Port Sauce

It is understood the Queen was provided four menu options to choose from, all designed by the royal chefs and without doubt the menu was created using the freshest and most high quality ingredients possible.
Although alcoholic drinks were available, Trump is well known to be tee-total so perhaps his favorite diet coke beverage was available to him!
