Whether you remember her from the early days in ‘8 Simple Rules’ or from her breakout film roles in the ‘Transformers’ series, Megan Fox has remained on the radar ever since and thanks to her striking good looks has also ventured into model. However maintaining her unbelievable figure is no easy feat, following a very strict five-factor and keto diet.
To achieve her figure, Fox eats five small meals a day to regulate her sugar levels and follows a keto diet which is a low-carb high-fat plan and has immensely risen in popularity of late. Fox has been known to state that carbs don’t make her feel good so within her daily diet she avoids all carbs and processed foods. Instead she eats lots of natural foods with a high intake of fruits and vegetables.
So strict is her diet that she told E! News ‘I don’t have any cheat days’ and that ‘the worst thing I put in my body is coffee, once a day’. Coffee is the worst thing?! Megan really wouldn’t to hear my daily diet…
Despite not eating big meals in the day, Fox still trains hard with a challenging five-factor workout. This involves a cardio warm up followed by sculpting exercises targeting upper body and abs performed in 4 sets with 20 reps – no rest! On tougher days, workouts also include circuit training and resistance training. I feel weak just reading it.
There is no doubt Megan has an enviable figure but hearing what it takes to achieve it certainly makes you wobble in motivation. Fox reiterated in The View, ‘I don’t eat anything fun’ but remember, life is way too short not to have – and eat – fun.
