Industry Kitchen restaurant in New York City is selling what they deem to be the world’s most expensive pizza at an unbelievable $250 per slice or $2,000 for the entire pie. Now that’s certainly a jump up from the dollar slice.

Restaurant chef Braulio Bunay said the pizza was inspired by the restaurants extremely wealthy location in the Financial District.

What makes this pizza so expensive are the outrageous ingredients:

  • Squid ink dough base
  • Stilton cheese imported from England
  • French foie gras
  • Shaved truffle
  • Tape and flakes of 24-karat gold
  • Ossetra cavier
  • Edible flowers

Bunay described the pizza to Town and Country Magazine as:

“…the epitome of decadence. The pizza is extremely rich—if you’re in the mood for a lavish meal, this is the pizza for you.”

So if you feel like splashing the cash, get yourself to FiDi – but make sure you order the pizza 48 hours in advance!
