Recently we reported that Heinz were introducing Mayochup to the condiment aisle causing a divided opinion in the internet world. Well it seems the verdict was overall positive as the Heinz sauce family is growing further by popular demand.
Although many were skeptical, Heinz reported that continually innovating was key to helping stabilise sales. So, introducing this week Mayocue and Mayomust sauces. As you can probably guess, Mayocue is a combination of mayonnaise and barbecue sauce, whilst Mayomust combines mayonnaise and mustard.
Just like their predecessor, Mayocue and Mayomust had a mixed reaction on social media with many mocking the name ‘Mayomust’ in particular.
Despite the reaction, Nicole Kulwicki, Heinz’s director of marketing, said:
“Sauce lovers nationwide have been mixing different condiments to create flavor combinations that will take their favorite foods to the next level for years….we’re taking out the guesswork to give our fans the perfect condiment blends from the start!”
