Many inventions are so useful that you wonder how you ever lived life before they were introduced. However other inventions highlight an issue you never knew existed and make you question what is left of humanity…

Introducing the Rollie Eggmaster. A vertical grill that will solve your egg cooking problems and produce you an egg-on-a-stick.

When friends or family say they can’t cook, one tends to recommend they start somewhere basic like an omelette (or scrambled egg if it goes wrong). But apparently Rollie saw a gap in the market for all those struggling to produce even this simple meal and avoid all those burnt pans or messy fried eggs.

Advertised as a hands free egg cooker, the Rollie doesn’t require any oil or egg peeling with the user simply cracking an egg straight into the centre vessel. As the egg cooks, it begins to rise and exit the grill in a solid tubular shape. Individuals can then enjoy the egg-on-a-stick on its own or slide it onto a plate with aesthetic appeal.

Since its launch, people have been baffled and grossed out by the egg skewer and whether it actually looks like it does in the ad. Have a watch and find out for yourself:

How it looks in reality…

Personally, I’m not sold. Neither is The Pizzle, who reviewed the Rollie with humorous effect. Not only did the Rollie ‘sh*t’ out the egg onto the floor but it also ‘smelt like burning plastic’ and didn’t cook the meat skewer all the way through.

Although we appreciate the thought, there really are some things that should remain untouched…
