KFC. The fast-food giants are well known for having a very solid PR game. The reason why they only follow 11 people on Twitter is genius, and the Colonel is well known for dropping new menu items at strategic times — well, this latest move is very much in that vein.
Just in time for the holidays KFC have released a log that actually smells like fried chicken.
That’s right, they’re debuting the 11 Herbs & Spices firelog which, when lit, will fill your room with the delicious smell of fried chicken.
The description on the website reads: “Imbued with the unmistakable, mouth-watering aroma of Colonel Sanders’ secret recipe, the KFC 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog finally puts to rest the age-old dilemma, ‘How can I make this fire a hundred bajillion times better?’
“At KFC, we have always been proud of our role in bringing loved ones together at the dinner table around a bucket of our world-famous fried chicken,” Andrea Zahumensky, the chief marketing officer of KFC U.S., said in a statement.
“Now, this winter we’re bringing all the things we love — family, friends and fried chicken — together around the fire with our scented firelog.”
If you’re looking for a holiday gift for the fried-chicken lover in your life then you can pick up your log here for $18.99. Nothing says “I love you” like a Kentucky Fried Fireplace.
