Everything is better during the holidays and undeniably a key part of what makes Christmas so great is food. Whether you tuck into turkey, goose, duck or a nut-roast, the holidays are a time for bonding over some of the best foods in the world — and now McDonald’s are joining the party.
So here’s what’s new.
From tomorrow customers will be able to get their hands on the Chicken Big Tasty burger – but instead of the classic beef patty, the chicken version is made with two Chicken Selects, lettuce, tomato, onions, and two Emmental cheese slices – finished off with the Big Tasty burger sauce and a seeded square bun. Delicious.
Ronald McDonald and co are even taking things before burgers this holiday season.
In addition to their regular fries, McDonald’s will be offering a Cheese Melting Dippers served with a side of Festive Tomato Dip.
For all your sweet-tooths out there, they’re even rolling out the aptly named Malteaser Reindeer McFlurry, filled with mini chocolate reindeer. And a new addition to their McCafe line up: Millionaire Latte – made with a large shot of espresso blended with steamed milk and a caramel biscuit flavor syrup.
But perhaps the greatest development from McDonald’s is their brand new holiday commercial. In the 90-second film, Santa is seen snacking on mince pies at every house, while the poor reindeer are left hungry and lacking energy as the families they visit appear to have forgotten to leave any carrots.
