One would assume The President quickly becomes accustomed to dining in some of the worlds most exquisite restaurants using the best ingredients on offer, however Trump rarely does what is expected.
His daily food habits are reminiscent of a scene from Home Alone but you can’t begrudge him for staying true to himself. Deep down, this would be everyone’s dream diet.
President Trump doesn’t drink alcohol and can be commended for this healthy lifestyle choice. Although the scales are tipped straight back on the discovery that he drinks 12 Diet Cokes a day.
Apparently there is a special button at his desk in the Oval Office which he can ring to summon another can and for fancy events, the President will have his soda served in a wine glass.
Bringing a touch of class to his Presidential campaign, Trump posted a picture of himself on his private jet with a good old bucket of fried chicken.
However it wasn’t his love of KFC that was the surprise, instead it was his use of a knife and fork to eat it.
This caused wild debate amongst fast food lovers with people determined to understand if this normal or a classic Trump quirk.
President Trumps knife and fork habit doesn’t stop at KFC. He was also spotted using a fork whilst enjoying another favourite greasy treat of pizza alongside Sarah Palin.
But as usual, nothing is straightforward when it comes to Trump as it turns out he only likes to eat the topping of pizza, avoiding the extra calories of the crusts.
Twitter went wild mocking Trump for his strange eating habit and in response he said:
“I don’t walk around with forks and knives and, frankly it was very comfortable. Plus this way you can take the top of the pizza off and you’re not just eating the crust. I like not to eat the crust so we keep the weight down at least as good as possible.”
Steak and Ketchup
Often seen as a sacrilege to over cook a fine cut of meat, Trump continues to do things his own way.
A fast food fiend’s diet wouldn’t be complete without Maccy D’s, and President Trump is no exception.
He has been quoted to go 14 to 16 hours without eating, then having a full McDonald’s dinner of two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, and a small chocolate shake – a total of 2,430 calories. A light snack then…
Not only does he enjoy McDonalds for their Filet-O-Fish but he also visits Ronald McDonald due to the standard of cleanliness fast food chains bring.
President Trump enjoys a sweet treat or two and his favourite are the classic Vienna Fingers.
His consumption of these will no doubt continue to increase now that he has sworn of his other preferred sweet – Oreos. President Trump has vowed to no longer eat the delicious creme filled cookie due to their production relocation to Mexico.
But fear not, there are plenty of other snacks to choose from. According to The Washington Post, the President never eats from a previously opened pack due to being a renowned germaphobe and so there is a continuous array of in-flight bites including his beloved Vienna Fingers, potato chips, and pretzels.
