Donald Trump Jr. Criticized After Posting Video Of Him Dining At Salt Bae’s Restaurant

It’s been another interesting week for American politics.

First we had the divisive Kanye West put on an odd performance for Donald Trump at the White House, during which he banged on the resolute desk and went on a 10-minute rant. And now, it’s the turn of Trump Jr to make the headlines with a celebrity meeting of his own… with a certain Salt Bae.

Donald Trump Jr, went to the Turkish chef’s restaurant in New York City and shared a video of the man himself in action.

Junior posted about the dinner in his Insta story and in a full-fledged Instagram post. “This happened tonight,” he said to his 1.3 million followers. “Amazing meal.”

Trump Jr. received a bit of heat after posting the video on his ‘gram. It was mostly regarding the now infamous meal that Salt Bae cooked for Venezuelan dictator, Mr. Maduro, a man who is seen to be starving his own people while dining at expensive restaurants.

Trump Jr. is clearly a fan of Salt Bae. Earlier this year he posted a meme of the salt-sprinkling chef that looked like his father, President Donald Trump. In the post, he said his father was “Freedom Bae” who was “just sprinkling a bit of freedom for all of us to enjoy this #Independence Day weekend.” He also once compared himself to Salt Bae after a number of memes of him made the rounds online in March 2017.

Perhaps it’s only a matter of time before the President, and NYC native, makes an appearance at Salt Bae’s steakhouse. After all, we know Donald Trump orders his steak in a very bizarre way.

What a day for the internet.
